Gordon was born the son of Ben and Rachel Beehler on December 8, 1940 in Olivet, South Dakota.  He was a wonderful, kind person and was loved by everyone who knew him. He grew up in Wichita, Kansas and traveled around the region playing table tennis where was recognized as one of the best players in the nation. He served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963.  Gordon and Donna Beehler were united in marriage on December 11, 1964.  He graduated from WSU with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1970 and earned his CPA certification while living in San Antonio, Texas. He and his family moved back to Wichita in 1980 where he worked for Koch Industries for 14 years while earning his masters degree in Management Information Systems, then worked at Bombardier (Learjet) for 11 years before retiring in 2006.

Gordon is survived by his wife Donna, sons Grady and Troy and his wife Patti, and brother Bob and his wife Janice. Due to COVID-19, no services will be held.  We ask friends and family to use this site to share a photo, post a tribute and/or make donations to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Gordon's name.

Donna, Troy and Grady, you was blessed with the sweetest Husband and father. We the Shepard's have a lot of fond memories with Gordon and Donna. He was the funniest man and such humor doesn't flow from everyone. He will be truly missed by all who new him. Rest in Peace sweet man and will meet again at the gates of Heaven.

Gordon was one of a kind. He was enjoyed by so many of us due to his dry since of humor and laid back personality. You never knew what he was going to come up with. He will truly missed.

I remember Gordan being so much fun and an excellent craftsman with the wood pen creations he made. He was always nice to his friend, Don Chism's, baby sister when he would drag me along to their breakfasts a few times. We are so sorry. Love, Kevin and Becky Miller
