Glenver was a fun-loving, food-loving person! He was a beloved husband, devoted father and a true and loyal friend. He loved easily and forgave just as easily. He was unfailingly kind and humble and I strive to bring up our son in his father’s image. He was the linchpin of our family and my rock. We were partners in a true sense and I wouldn’t be a teacher today without his unwavering support and encouragement. We enjoyed 10 years of marital bliss and though I feel cheated of more time with him, I can’t help but be grateful for having had these wonderful years and our amazing son who is the apple of our eye.
Time hasn’t worked its magic,
it hasn't filled the emptiness,
nor has it brought comfort,
it hasn't made us miss you less.
Time hasn't provided answers,
nor has it lessened the pain.
It seems to have stood still
and we wait till you're home again.
We think of you every day.
What you would have done or said.
Right now, you're in heaven
spreading your cheer there instead.
It’s difficult to just let go.
I don’t think we can ever do.
Your love and light still burn strong,
they keep warm our memories of you.
