Click Here to View and Download the Memorial held for Gerard Nicolas on August 1st, 2020 Mr. Gerard Nicolas died peacefully at home on July 11, 2020 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 94. Mr. Nicolas is survived by his children Linda Francoeur of Lauderhill, FL; Edwin Nicolas, of Jerusalem, Israel; Patrick Nicolas of Bellmore, NY, and Mario Nicolas of San Antonio, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 58 years, Bernadette Nicolas. Mr. Nicolas was born on April 4, 1926 in Jeremie, Haiti and moved to New York City soon after marrying Bernadette Nicolas (née Legagneur) on July 30, 1955. He and his family lived in Cambria Heights, NY and then Bellmore, NY until moving to Lauderhill, FL in 2008. He moved to San Antonio, TX in 2013. A virtual memorial is scheduled for Saturday, August 1; and a virtual funeral is scheduled for Sunday, August 2, with a Zoom reception to follow.
