In remembrance of Georgia Carol Urbanczyk April 12, 1945 - February 23, 2022
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Georgia (aka nanny) would say she was one of a kind, her wit and kindness touched every person she met. Georgia lived her life to the fullest, never taking a day for granted. If there was an opportunity to dance, laugh, sing, share a meal, or play cards she didn't waste a single second to jump at it. She was fearless and strong with endless love to give those in her life, truly the matriarch of her family and rock to many.
For any woman to beat breast cancer, accomplish a career, raise two children, nurture four grandchildren, adore a great-grandchild, plan every family gathering, and still have the energy to crack jokes with any cashier, nurse, or stranger the day brought her way is unbelievable. To say she was a special lady loved by many is an understatement that's seen in the immense loss felt by her passing.
Her memory lives on in those she left behind. Forever celebrated and loved for the amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, friend and woman she was.

Oh I am so so sorry to hear of Georgia's passing. She was an amazing person. I knew her and her husband for over 20 years. We basically saw each other once a year, for 10 straight days, 12 hrs each day for the Big League World Series. The BLWS was hosted each year in Fort Lauderdale in August, when teams from around the world would compete. During those 10 days Georgia was always smiling and helping, and she was such a joy to be around. Hugs and love to her entire family. Bette Stark Gibson
