George Vincent Vaccaro

George Vincent Vaccaro, age 80, passed away in Palo Alto, California on Sunday February 14, 2021. George was born in Santa Rosa, attended local schools, and went on to graduate from San Jose State University in Business. He eventually established a successful executive recruitment firm in the SF Bay Area called The Advisory Group.

George was a jack of all trades and happily shared his knowledge of technology/household repairs/cars/computers, etc. with neighbors, friends, and family. He had many interests including photography, tennis, gardening, cycling, vintage radio and clock collecting and taking care of his beloved cat, Christopher. He was also the family historian and loved reminiscing about the past via his story telling and sharing old photos. 

George will be remembered for his quick mind and funny sense of humor. He joked that when it was time for him to pass on to the "Great Unknown," he wanted his headstone to read, "Executive Recruiter, My Final Placement." He is survived by his daughters, Michelle and Melissa Vaccaro, his sister, Kathy Vaccaro Lance, his Aunt June Bache and several cousins. A celebration of life (virtual) will be scheduled at a later time.
