It still feels so unreal, Dad. I don’t know what to say expect thank you for being the best dad ever. I was lucky enough to be raised by a “walking, talking encyclopedia”, a nickname given by my 4th grade teacher after you went on a field trip with us. I love that you knew everything. I could ask you what’s this or who’s that or how does this happen, and you would answer like it was nothing and include an interesting story. You were my biggest supporter, not only during every softball practice, game or tournament, but also when I became a mother and owned my business. You stepped up to help my family and raise Jace when Sammy and I had demanding jobs. So much of Jace’s sweetness, kindness and personality comes from you, Dad. I miss you, I’ll always miss you. I’ll see you in my dreams. I love you.
