Gay Masters was born in Sunnyside WA. She was and educator and district coordinator of Language Arts in Salem-Keizer. She was a wonderful women who cared for her family and was constantly thinking of them. She loved to travel, checking out plays and operas. She particularly loved the Portland Opera House and felt it allowed everyone and anyone to come. She was not afraid of a challenge and firmly believed honesty was the best policy from telling you uf she disliked your outfit or just a blunt truth. She couldn't keep a secret on her life. She loved to play cards with her friends and a good deink. She enjoyed thrifting and telling those that loved her outfit it was from value village. She use to sing to her grandkids to sleep, take them to the wave pools and any natural history museum she could find and later on some of her great grandkids. She loved to send a random package full of the most interesting things and no explanation these "care packages" were aways a joy to us even if it left us with more questions than answers. She truly made the world a better place through everyone she helped. We will post about a celebration of life party in the Salem at a later date and look forward to reading your memories and thoughts and prayers.
