Gavin Connolly

Gavin Connolly a junior at the Neshaminy high school, collapsed suddenly while celebrating a victory with his teammates. The school described the incident as a "sudden cardiac event." He was taken to a nearby by hospital and later pronounced deceased. Neshaminy's 2023 graduating class gathered at the school on Monday morning to remember the teenager, who was an active member of the varsity basketball team, mock trial, and speech and debate teams. In May, the school had featured Connolly’s volunteer work at Triest Hall, where he and his classmates spent time with elderly individuals with disabilities. Gavins’s school had an assembly in remembrance of him. Gavin had 3 D1 offers to play basketball at ASU, LSU, and PSU. Leaving to mourn family and friends. Gavin will be missed but never forgotten.
