Gary Allen Anderson

Gary was one year behind me and a vary close friend of my brother, Bert. Their were 5 in this group and Gary is the last surviver. In their senior year, the made an effigy of our high school principal and hung it from the top of the flag ploe in front of our high school and greased the pole on the way down. When it was discovered the next morning, no one could climb up the pole. They had to call out The Phillips Oil Co. to bring the fire truck out to be able to reach the top of the pole. The funny thing is that they had hidden the dully in the trunk of Gary's dad's car who happened to be the President of the School Board and was driving his Company car.

Another prank this group pulled was to spreasd the rumour that everyone was to leave the building at 11:00 Am and gather around the flag pole to protest something. When the bell rang, everyone, except for the 5 culprits, left the building, wondering what was going on. Our group of 5 pleaded that they knew nothing
