To the Torres family, my deepest condolences to you all. Certainly Mr. Torres was a well respected teacher, and he certainly pushed all of us in that gentle, yet firm manner by raising the bar and expanding our minds. It is only now as an adult, that one truly appreciates Mr. Torres' sacrifice, for he could have easily earned more money and had a less demanding job, instead he picked the higher calling and instilled in generations of young Taosenos, the desire and ability to truly challenge oneself.

To the Torres Family: I am sorry about your loss. I have fond memories of Frank and my dad picking up bales and riding in his truck up the mountain in Guadalupita. He also made my brain rattle in Physics class. He always brought a smile! My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
