Today, I was referring a friend to Dr. Dustin. When I searched for his contact info, I was heartbroken to learn that he had passed away. He helped me tremendously after a major injury a decade ago. In fact, he was the one person who was able to reassure me that I would fully heal. The impact of his words, confidence, and kind heart got me through that time. I remember his thoughtful guidance, warm smile, calm demeanor, and brilliance. I was always to excited to see him and discuss healing. It was like having a cheerleader. What a gem. I am forever grateful to him for how lovingly he cared for his patients and helped us navigate challenges. His legacy will live on in all of hearts. Sending our love, gratitude, and deepest respect to you, dear Dr. Dustin.

I just heard of Dr Dustin’s passing, what sad news. He was a wonderful doctor, I called him my teddy bear doctor, so warm and caring as well as skilled and thorough. I was lucky to cross paths with him but had no idea we had The Grateful Dead in common. What a long strange trip it’s been is something I say frequently!

Dr Dustin was one of my teachers as a resident. I remember him fondly as a supportive physician and teacher. He spent the most time with his patients and he always had a smile. Thank you for everything, and from reading your tributes I hope I can make such a great impact as you have.

I just heard about Dr. Dustin. I was stunned and very heartbroken ! He always treated me so kind as his patient. I remember giving him a plant for a gift for being so kind . He told me, “ I will always take care of this”. At subsequent visits he would tell me, “ My plant is still alive. “ Rest in peace dear Dr. Dustin ! I know you’re making a difference in Heaven.

Just learned of Dr. Dustin's passing when my husband did not see his name in the drop down list of Kaiser doctors to email for a prescription refill. Dr. Dustin was a wonderful person--warm, kind, and empathetic. He diagnosed and treated my husband's cluster headaches. We are saddened by this news and send our condolences to all who loved him. I'm oddly comforted that we share the same favorite saying! Thank you for everything Dr. Dustin--you were truly one of a kind.
