Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Frances “Fran” Prelesnik, 74, was welcomed home by her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on April 06, 2020.

She was born on January 22, 1946 to Peter and Pauline Delia who preceded her in death along with her sisters, Terry Feldstein & Placent Delia, joining three sister hearts who had an inseperable bond while on earth. Blessed with her husband Larry of 52 years, children Joshua Prelesnik & Elizabeth Light, son-in-law Stephen Light, and grand daughter Geneva (age 3), she left behind a legacy that will live on through these loved ones.

Fran’s desire for others to experience the life-changing grace of God, resulted in sharing all aspects of her life to inspire others to know Christ. She achieved that end in serving at her church in various childrens ministries, volunteering with Child Evangalism Fellowship and Wayside Harvesters outreach events, and as a teaching leader through Bible Study Fellowship. While her heart was always connected to various ministires, she equally enjoyed living for Christ through great conversations, delicious meals, serving her family, exploring new places, time with her beloved grand daughter, and playing bridge.

Her hospitality, authenticity, kindness, and selfless love for others were an overflow of Christ in her life, resulting in a life of JOY which impacted others beyond measure. Jesus was glorified even in a journey through cancer which did not disrupt, but magnified that Christ is above all circumstances and it is only through Him that we truly live.

A celebration of life will be held, at a later date, after the restrictions of COVID-19 has been lifted.

Our children went to high school together in Spring Lake, MI. I didn’t know Fran then but when we crossed paths in the Desert and started to play bridge together I discovered what a wonderful lady she was. It is no secret what God can do, and for meeting Fran I thank him. God Bless you Fran! I will miss you.

Fran was such an amazing, beautiful, loving, and dear friend of my family. She was a blessing to me and my children during a very difficult time in our lives and we will forever be thankful for her. She will be truly missed. I know she is celebrating in the arms of Christ. Prayers for Larry, Liz and Josh as you face each day. May the God of comfort surround you. Love each of you!
