Our message this Easter is #believesurvivors - honouring the dignity and grace of Witness J and each of you. The Pell decision was based on a very specific legal argument and it does not mean that Witness J and each of you do not remain a Witness of Truth. Over this time of social isolation, try and remain connected, and each day remind yourself of the courage you have shown in your journey to bring to light the injustices and misuse of power of many institutions, including the Catholic Church. The decision of the High Court does not change your truth and your desire for justice. Happy Easter, whatever that means to you.
