Memorial

Fernando J. Torrez 86, of Chama passed away October 2, 2013. He was in the Marine Corps, and then retired from the Department of Transportation. After retirement he became a full time rancher which was is passion. Mr. Torrez is survived by his daughters Yvonne Torrez-Alshire (Wayne), from Carmel CA, Renee Martinez (Michael) of Albuquerque, NM and a sister Maria Delgado also of Albuquerque, NM. There was a Rosary on Friday, October 4, 2013 at San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos. The funeral mass took place on Saturday, October 5, 2013, in Los Ojos. Interment followed with Military Honors.

My sincerest condolences to Mr. Torrea's family. Daniel 12:2 tells us "there will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up, these to indefinitely lasting life." Soon all our loved ones will be resurrected to live in a new paradise earth where death will be no more, neither will pain and suffering. What a wonderful day that will be.
