Uncle Sonny
I remember Felix Sr. my brother in law as a hard working caring person! He took me to my first concert in Salinas. We watched a jazz band perform. I was around 12. I also remember him n my sister Alice dance the tango! They were awesome! No one could dance tangos better than them!! They’re dancing tangos with all the other family members. What some people don’t know but Felix would take a pay cut in order to keep some of his workers working and not laying em off! That’s someone who cares for his workers not just himself! He was a very good mechanic n could fix darn near anything. I had the honor if working with him at McCormick for a number of years. He was told that he was over qualified for the position of mechanic when he applied at McCormick but he wanted to work no matter what position. It was a terrible shock to hear that he passed away! I always expected him to be here regardless of the situation. I know lots of us take our time here for granted! Like myself! We don’t know how much time the Lord has given us that is why we should not procrastinate! We should tell n show the people who are important to us how much they are loved n to keep all these people close to you! Life is too short to put off things that one can do or say today instead of putting it off for another time! We’ll miss him as well as our lovely nieces who were taken too soon! May God continue to bless n keep all of you safe. Love to you sis n your beautiful family!
