I just learned today that your father passed. I am so sorry for your loss. I've known your family ever since I was 16 years old, I'm 66 years old now. i remember your father's quiet strength and gentle compassion as well. He will be missed. Thinking of all of you, and hope your memories of your father bring you some peace.

My Dad My very first memory of my Dad was when I was about 2 yrs old, he was getting ready for work early in the morning and he found me crying quietly by myself inside the toybox... I was upset because I had a wet diaper on. He saw and heard me and picked me up comforting me and found my Mom and he handed me off to her so he could leave for work. I guess that 's when I was aware of his comforting strong nature. He was always someone I looked up to and admire all my life. His quiet strength that was my Dad.

Uncle Felix was so kind, calm & patient with all of us. His smile was warm and bright which was always comforting to us kids even in mischief times. When I think of him I will see him smoking his pipe; or coming in with his police uniform on. I was so impressed with him still playing tennis at 80. What a beautiful life and uncle. RIP
