Eula Eleanor Connor
April 28th, 1948 - February 2nd, 2021
April 28th, 1948 - February 2nd, 2021
Eula Eleanor Connor was born to the late Estelle Connor and Daniel Connor on April 28, 1948 in Belize City, Belize. On February 2, 2021 at the age of 72, Ms. Eula went home to the good Lord, after a long struggle with dementia. She is remembered by all who came into contact with her kindness, wisdom, and unconditional love. She is preceded in death by her siblings Millicent Connor, Ethel Cain, Osbert Flowers and Zelda Connor.
Eula graduated from Wesley College in 1967. She married Hubert Casey Francis and moved to Chicago, seeking opportunities in America. She worked as a bookkeeper and eventually moved to California to be closer to her other relatives whom had emigrated from Belize. Her time in Los Angeles was spent supporting family and creating a future for the lives of her three children. After raising them, she briefly returned home to Belize, before moving to Covington, Georgia.
Those who knew her, knew she cared deeply for her family and always offered assistance when needed, whether it was providing a place to stay for visitors to Los Angeles, tutoring younger members of the family, sewing and mending clothing, or visiting her mother and sisters for cooking and recollections of their times growing up in Belize. She encouraged all family members to pursue excellence in education and to be mindful to the needs of others around them. Eula often went above and beyond to help and be there for others, even when she herself faced a multitude of hardships. In this way she was a beacon to others in difficult times, and a brilliant example of what can be done through hard work. She was truly a great human being, who lived with God in her heart and a deep love for the world and those around her.
The family is deeply saddened by Eula’s departure, and she will be greatly missed by her surviving siblings Hermin Domingo, Arthur and Bonnell Connor; her beloved children Nicole (Dexter), Mitchell, Ryan (Erin); her grand daughters Tiffany and Gabby and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Though the family grieves her loss, we are greatly appreciative for all the well wishes. God bless you all for your kindness, thoughts and prayers.

My Aunt Eula. The first thing that I remember of her was our name sounding alike. When my grandma “Tita” would call either one of us we both answered because of both names sound alike. Hence the name Beulah Ann.. My auntie had the most wonderful smile. She was kind, patient and soft spoken. Never raised her voice. She had this look when she wanted you to know she was serious. There was no mistaking-it. She was always a fashionable dressed and dainty woman. Every hair it’s place. I watched her raised three wonderful children with such love and care. Well done my auntie! Sleep in peace, until we meet again.. love always Beulah Ann.❤️.
