Eryn McEntee
October 13th, 1984 - January 1st, 2020
October 13th, 1984 - January 1st, 2020
Scholar, Healer, Daughter, Sister, Friend Eryn Rose McEntee, ND, sadly left her friends and family to meet her Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of January 1, 2020. Eryn died as she lived, praying the rosary with her prayer book by her side, ever cognizant of our human vulnerability and essential reliance on the Creator at all times. Born on October 13, 1984, to the late William B. McEntee, Jr. and the late Ann A. (DiDonato) McEntee, Eryn was the 2002 valedictorian of John F. Kennedy High School. She went on to receive her BS from the University of Chicago and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. This brought her to Seattle, WA where she settled down into a vibrant, spiritual community called Communion and Liberation. Her many interests included pen and ink, painting, knitting, crocheting, cooking, book-making, hiking, and anything she could do with others. Eryn volunteered at a number of nonprofits including Mary's Place, 3W, PCC and countless advocacy programs for those struggling with addiction. Above all, it can be said that Eryn had a true gift for making friends. Eryn is survived by her siblings, Conor Joseph McEntee and his wife Tanya of Waterbury, CT and Caitlin Marie McEntee of Kirkland, WA, her loving "second mother" Susan (Sathre) McEntee, her stepbrothers, Daniel Linstrum and Christopher Linstrum, Uncle & Godfather, Bruce McEntee, Uncle Scott McEntee, Cousin Bryan McEntee and his wife, JoAnna Cass McEntee, all of Waterbury. Eryn also leaves behind her Aunt & Godmother Susan (DiDonato) Ouellette and Uncle Mark Ouellette of Bethlehem, Aunt Andrea DiDonato of West Ossipee, NH, Uncle Frank DiDonato and Aunt Sonia DiDonato of Manchester, NH, her stalwart Auntie Carmey (Carmela Kerwin) of Waterbury and her cousins, Christie Frick, JonPaul Ouellette, Robbie DiDonato and Michael DiDonato. Lastly, Eryn leaves behind a large group of grieving friends in Seattle, WA.
