Elise DeCamp

Elise Danielle DeCamp (née Hansen), D.C., 33, of Lake Stevens, WA, passed away on September 9, 2020 with her husband, mom, dad, and brothers by her side. She fought a valiant battle against breast cancer for 3 1/2 years. A celebration of Elise's life will be held at a later date. Elise was born in Chandler, AZ on February 25, 1987 to Gerald and Heidi Hansen. After graduating high school in Eureka, IL, she earned her earned her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, and subsequently added a pediatric specialty certification. Elise married Brandon DeCamp on May 25, 2013 and together they had two daughters, Harper and Blakely, and one son, Dawson. Elise was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. Elise's passion for helping and serving others was realized through her practice, Essential Health Chiropractic in Snohomish, WA, but expanded outside of her practice and was known, experienced, and admired by everyone she encountered. Elise enjoyed connecting with nature and going on family vacations. She loved writing, cooking, and spending time with her family. Elise was known for her quick wit, her infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit. Elise is survived by her husband, Brandon DeCamp; three children, Harper (7), Blakely (5), and Dawson (3); parents, Gerald and Heidi Hansen of Lake Stevens, WA; father- and mother-in-law, Steven and Tammy DeCamp of Wenatchee, WA; two brothers, Anthony (Chelsea) Hansen of Vail, AZ, and Nicholas (Gretel) Hansen of Lockport, IL; sister-in-law, Laura (Thomas) Powers of Everett, WA; uncles, Darren (Nikki) Erickson of Heyworth, IL, and Bernard Hansen of River Falls, WI; and aunts Rose Hansen-Russo of Mesa, AZ, and Judith (James) Jorgenson of River Falls, WI.
