You left a void no one could fill Daddy But scripture consoles us we believe we have a candidate in heaven already Your life demonstrated what true humility is and the benefits that accompany it We are pained you had to leave us this soon 🕊️💔 You’re indeed Jesus reincarnated You had riches of this world and dined with the controllers of nations But you never allow that to define you Your character and level of humility is beyond the comprehension of the human Because of your selfless efforts, many of us now walk paths that were once impossible to imagine Daddy, you fought the battles of fear and uncertainty for many of us. There were nights I wondered if my life would ever amount to anything, but whenever I remember your journey and the life you lived, I find hope. If a man like you could rise from humble beginnings and leave such a remarkable legacy, then I know greatness is possible for me too. Your life remains my inspiration You lived the life of Jesus Christ till your last breath. You’re gone sir but your legacy will never depart even unborn generations will hear of the remarkable life you lived I join Hundreds of thousands souls you impacted to say Goodnight Till we meet again our Hero 😭🕊️. Engr Elijah with a heavy heart am writing this tribute. In 2011 I did my industrial training in your company you didn't know me prior to that time but you treated me like your son. You were kind to me and I learnt a lot from you. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” May your soul rest in peace and I pray God gives the family the fortitude to bear this great loss. Goodnight Boss.

Your daughter Bb as you fondly called me before you changed it to foly really missed you. Words fail me because I'm not prepared for this but I know one thing for sure about you being a man of the gospel of Christ alone and who also knows how to balance work with God , family and secular life. You thought me to live for Christ with your lifestyle, you thought me how to study the Bible and see Christ from it. You always do things to satisfy me so far it's not sinful, even when I misbehave you will still proof to me that you love and care for me. Thank you my father for your life . Im comforted in that I know you have gone to rest in the bosom of Christ

To speak of Pastor Elijah Akinyode is to speak of a life poured out. It is to speak of someone who did not just talk about the Good Shepherd, but who walked in His footsteps often on rugged ground, and always with a limp born of carrying the burdens of others. As I sit down to write this, and I find that words are inadequate vessels for the gratitude I carry in my heart. You were the mentor who saw past my defenses and spoke truth into my spirit. We honor you not just for your years of service, but for the lives you have permanently changed. You have finished the race set before you, and you have done so with the grace of your Savior.
