Wonderful fun guy - remember him from 58 years ago going across North Africa in the van he and the other fellows had - an adventure of a lifetime never to be repeated the same by anyone now. Makes me sad to know our group is getting smaller and smaller as we get older. Eldon, you were a peach of a fellow,!

Eldon and my now husband eating my dry Christmas cookies - January 2015 (they were very dry and they both laughed so much)

Another pic of Eldon. I like this one. Peace always.

So sad to hear he passed away before I had a chance to say my goodbyes. He was highly intelligent, a deep thinker, a great cook. I felt so sad to see him in pain so I once prayed he would find peace with God. He taught me a lot about music and art. He was a renaissance man. Life is like grass, it really feels fragile. I hope his children are doing well. Goodby Eldon

Dear Eldon, I will always remember our first interaction on our DGBK trip to Seattle. I was still a bit shy and self aware of my English and you walked with me and made me laugh. It was about 14 years ago and I have loved you and cared for you since. I will always cherish the memory of our diners (lighting the candles, the cheese and bread until we were too full for diner, the gluten free cookies explosion), our walks, our dancing together, our story telling. You were one of my dearest friend. A kindred spirit. It has been almost 2 years and I miss you very much. Thank you for your friendship, it meant the world to me. Rest in peace Eldon. Love, Fred. Pic taken on my Birthday in 2013. Favorite sweater.

It’s always sad to loose a close friend & brother. Eldon was my TA @ SFU in the early 70’s. We always kept in touch. I did my first LSD trip with him at Canon Beach Oregon on a road trip to San Francisco. He was a great teacher and mentor. Eldon had a wonderful sense of humour and always laughed at my jokes. I think of him often and miss our visits. See you on the other side, Eldon. Take care and peace and love always. Rob.
