Edward Binkley

Edward Charles Binkley, died on February 25th, 2022 at the age of 73. He was born February 18, 1949 in Gary Indiana to Natalie and Charles Binkley.

He joined the Marines to serve during the Vietnam war 1967-1968. He was a member of the Magnificent Bastards, wounded during the battle of Dai Do and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and many other awards. He worked for many years at Active Electric until he retired in 2010 which gave him the opportunity to go on many adventures to the beach with his family. He was a loyal and devoted husband and father and he loved his grandchildren very much. He was often seen on the ground playing with toys alongside them or teaching them how to make pizza muffins.

He will be loved and missed by his wife of 49 years, Sandy Binkley; his daughter Heather Short; son-in-law Terry Short Jr.; grandchildren Molly and Josh Short; his son Chris Binkley; daughter in-law Tina Binkley; grandchildren Nathan and Colin Binkley; sister Carol Haufe; brother David Binkley; brother Joe Binkley and many nieces and nephews.
