Edna Christine Smith

Edna Christine Smith, 68, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away January 27, 2025 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born in 1956 in Parkersburg WV. She was the daughter of the late William Franklin Smith and the late Madge Adeline Metts Smith.

She graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1975. She is survived by her biological daughters, Carissa Massey of Lancaster, PA, and Madge Minick of Reynoldsburg, OH; and her grandchildren Ruby Massey-Hartz, Hazel Massey-Hartz, Meredith Minick, and Gordon Minick; and one sister, Peggy Crisp of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Tonya Ruie Smith Hart. 

No services will be held as she is to be cremated. You may express through a donation in her name to House to Home of Parkersburg, WV, a day shelter that provides services to homeless and marginally housed individuals (HousetoHome2022@gmail.com or 304-893-5353).

A private cremation will take place at Mid-Ohio valley Cremation Society.
