Five Years Without You, Yet Forever Teaching Us! This week marks five years since our beloved Dad passed on from this world. Yet the lessons he left behind continue to guide us, shape us, and challenge us to live with purpose. This year, as we remember him, we reflect not only on the man he was, but on the teachings that continue to live within us. He taught us that life is not measured by what we keep for ourselves, but by what we give to others. He taught us that education is not only about personal success, but about opening doors, building confidence, and helping others discover their own potential. Reflecting on this photo from the early 1990s, when Dad represented Africa at the Scout Jamboree in the United States, reminds us of those lessons. Some of us were very young then, but we still vividly remember the stories and conversations he shared afterwards. They were lessons about humility, discipline, friendship, service, respect for others, and seeing the world as one human family. Those lessons have remained with us. They continue to shape how we serve, how we lead, how we support one another, and how we try to make a difference in the world. They remind us that true leadership is quiet, patient, and responsible. They remind us that every person we teach, encourage, support, or uplift becomes part of a legacy greater than ourselves. As we mark five years since his passing, we do so with gratitude and humility, and we pray to God to help us carry forward the values Dad lived and taught: to serve with love, to teach with patience, to lead with humility, to protect family unity, and to leave the world better than we found it. Five years later, the teacher's voice still echoes through the lessons he planted in us and in many others. Forever remembered. Forever grateful. Forever in our hearts. Rest in peace, our beloved father and a friend to many.

Our lovely dad, father, mentor, educationist and World Hero. Three years have passed since you left us, but not a day goes by that we don't feel the warmth of your love and the strength of your wisdom. You were the compass of our family, guiding us with patience and nurturing us with understanding. As we remember you today, we thank God for your life and celebrate the legacy you left behind, a legacy of kindness, generosity, strength, and dedication to serving others that has shaped who we are. Your good works continue to inspire us to strive for excellence and make a difference in the World, just as you did. You taught us the value of unity and the power of standing together. You taught us the meaning and importance of genuine friendships. In honour of your memory, we renew our commitment to each other and to the values you held dear. We pledge to continue your service legacy, support one another, value our friends and uphold the family bond you cherished so deeply. Your spirit lives on in the love we share, and in the lives we touch. You may not be here in person, but your influence is everlasting. We are proud to have had the opportunity to be part of your life and will continue to do our best to aspire towards that perfect World you wanted to see for everyone. Forever in our hearts, we love and miss you, our hero!

Four Years Without You, Yet Forever With Us Our dearest Dad, father, mentor, educator, and World Hero, today marks four years since you departed from this world; yet, your presence remains deeply woven into every part of our lives. Though time moves forward, our love for you only grows stronger. We carry your wisdom in our decisions, your compassion in our actions, and your courage in how we face life’s challenges. You taught us to live with purpose, to serve with heart, and to stand together as one family rooted in love. Your life was a testimony to what it means to lead with humility and to give without expecting anything in return. The seeds you planted through your service, generosity, and unwavering belief in the power of education are still bearing fruit in us, in our communities, and beyond. This year’s remembrance has been significant as former students, Old Boys and Girls of Kyazanga Modern Primary School, returned to their roots this weekend, gathering for a heartfelt reunion at the very place where your passion for education laid their foundations. They celebrated your life and legacy, honouring the role you played in shaping their journeys. For many, this was the first opportunity to pay their respects in person, having missed your burial due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Their kind gesture was humbling and reminded us again of how deeply you touched so many lives. As we remember you today, we celebrate the legacy you built, not in medals, but in lives uplifted, hope restored, and family bonds that remain unbreakable. We renew our vow to carry that legacy forward, together, with God’s grace and determination. Thank you, Dad, for showing us the way. We honour you not just with words, but with the lives we live and the values we uphold. You are missed beyond measure, loved beyond words, and remembered with deep, abiding gratitude. Forever in our hearts. We love and miss you, our hero. Rest in peace, our beloved father and a friend to many.
