It’s with great sorrow that we announce that our father Dr. Larry Alan Huntsinger OB/GYN passed away on Friday, November 6th.
Our father was adored and loved by thousands of grateful patients in South Florida, who he dedicated his life to serve.
Larry Alan Huntsinger was born on October 5, 1935. Graduating from Indiana Medical School in 1959. Served in the United States Navy as a US Naval Commander during the Vietnam conflict from 1961-70. Entered into his private practice from there in Broward county from 1970 till his retirement in 2001. Dr. Larry Huntsinger was a meticulous and studious man. He encompassed all of the qualities it requires to be an excellent surgeon, physician and father to his family. He was never too busy to listen or offer advice for any situation or crisis. He gave so much of who he was and what he has to others who needed help or support. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and every kind of sport. He will be forever missed by the hundreds that his life has touched and will always be the foundation that held our family strong. We love you.

Where do I begin.. you weren’t supposed to leave so unexpectedly, guess God needed you more. Going to miss our daily FaceTime s and calls. We had so much fun together and the memories we made going to lunch at Flanigans and Rustic Inn. Sharing all our adventures with you when we lived in North Carolina. So happy that Brittany and Chris found each and had Carlyee so that we could share extended family. Carlyee will grow to make you proud. We love you very much and miss you already. Looking for your sign. You were called to be an angel. Fly soar . We love you until we meet again

Where do I begin! Larry(doc) you were the most strong willed person I knew. Also there to talk to me about anything. You treated me like one of your daughters, I’m so happy that Brittany and Christopher came together so that myself and my family could extend our family and have you as a huge part of it. I remember when we went to the Rustic Inn and you said “I can hear the people over there at the other table ordering their food, these ears are too loud!” HaHa. You always made me laugh and you’d always say “anything else?” after every phone call haha! We are missing you so very much and know that you are looking down on us always and forever. P.S. We Love You Dad (Doc)
