Dr. Ralph Eddings 1930 -2021 The Snoqualmie Valley community has lost a celebrated member. Ralph Houston Eddings passed away at age 90 on May 29th, 2021 at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital. Ralph grew up in Tacoma. He went on to graduate from Whitman College and University of Washington Medical School. He completed a medical internship at Veterans Hospital and residency at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. "Doc" Eddings spent his entire professional life in the Snoqualmie Valley, serving the surrounding community for 60 years, making house-calls, delivering babies, setting broken bones, stitching cuts and handling emergencies at Nelems Memorial Hospital. Ralph was also a master at home improvement and could repair anything. His creativity was expressed through wood-carvings and whimsical driftwood mobiles. He also enjoyed skiing, tennis and golf. During the last years of his life he remained by the side of his youngest son, maintaining the Twin Star Carwash in Snoqualmie. Ralph joins his parents Geneva (Perkins) and Benjamin Eddings and sister Verlie in the realm of afterlife. He is survived by his loving wife Toinette Eddings and sister Muriel Eddings and his three children - Mitch, Cindy and Joe, three grandchildren - Tara (Eddings) Kamper, Chelsie Eddings, and Hailey (Eddings) Rogers, and great-grandchild Teddy Kampher. "Doc" Eddings will be greatly missed by all in the the Snoqualmie Valley. A Celebration of Life is happening in early Fall 2021. IN 1990, I moved to Snoqualmie with my son, Zach, to join the practices of Dr. Eddings & Dr. Johnson. Ralph was so helpful to me, as I started my medical practice. I have many fond memories of him.

Dr Eddings delivered me in 1964. Then was pediatrician for my children born in 1987 and 1989. It was very reassuring as a new mother to bring my children to a doctor who I had taken care of me as a child. Condolences to the Eddings family. ~ Melody Williams (Marum)
