April 18th, 1932 - April 23rd, 2020

Doris Huff-Robinson passed away on April 23, 2020, in Farmersville, Texas, with her family by her side. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Friday, June 5, 2020, at the First Baptist Church, in Morton, Texas with Rev Russ Coffman officiating. Doris was born April 18, 1932, to Perry Lafayette and Lillian Martha Fort in Plainview, Texas. She grew up in Bailey County where she met and married Homer Orvis (Bud) Huff Jr in 1947. Together they had six children. After being widowed in 2000, Doris married Jack Robinson. She spent most of her life on the family's farm in Bailey County, raising her family. She was never happier than when she had a houseful of children & grandchildren; she taught them how to pray, that food was homemade with love, play comes from your imagination, and no matter your circumstances, you can see the beauty in the world around you. Throughout her life, she always reached out to others and shared her love for God. She loved playing the piano, singing and whistling the old hymns. Her sweet spirit impacted the lives of many. Doris was proceeded in death by her parents; her first husband, Homer Orvis Huff Jr (2000); second husband, Jack Robinson (2009); son Steven Victor Huff; three brothers, GB Fort, Garland Fort and Carroll Fort; four sisters, Elnita Fort Key, Bonnie Fort Long, Martha Fort Meek, Marie Fort Adams; and two grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Geneva & husband Garland Henexson of Princeton, Texas. Four Sons, Chester Huff of Lamesa; Texas, Paul Huff & wife Renay of Lubbock, Texas; Jason Huff & wife Debi of Little Elm, Texas; and Marcus Huff & wife Jodi of Alvarado, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
