Donna Angelyn Hall

Donna Angelyn Hall of Little Hocking, Ohio passed away on March 26, 2025, after a battle with cancer. She was raised in Florida, but a 30-year resident of Ohio.

She was the daughter of Gilbert and Gracie Matthews, and the biological daughter of Howard Morris Stanton.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents – Fenton and Eunice Powell of Florence, SC, along with many aunts and uncles.

Donna is survived by her husband, Joseph Hall and three children, Angela Diane Richardson (Eddie), Joseph “Bo” Hall II (Ashley), and Suzanna Grace Combs (Jason), 12 grandchildren, Abby Godfrey, Peyton Pardue, Savanna Hall, Sianna Barber, Kaylee Hall, McKenna Hall, Gavin Combs, Owen Combs, Ella Combs, Ellie Manning, Daniel Hutchinson, and Randy Gwinn, all from Athens and Washington County, Ohio.

She is also survived by her sisters, Bobbie Jean Cross, Marcia Soles, Patra Williams, Katherine Meggs, Amelia Stanton Shealy, Dixie Stanton Gilbert, and brother Jack Tallavast along with many nieces, nephews, and one very special cousin, Paige Soles and aunt, Faye Metzgar.

There will be no service or viewing. The family requests donations to the Washington County Humane Society in lieu of flowers. Finally, the family would like to say a big “Thank You” to the staff at Cawley Hospice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society.
