Donald Lee Swisher

Donald L. Swisher passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 83.  Born on January 6, 1942, in Fairmont, West Virginia, Don was a resident of Sistersville for many years, and later Williamstown. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sara Starkey Swisher, his daughter, Meredith and her family of Needham, MA, and his son, Chet and his family of Loveland, OH.  Don graduated from Fairmont Senior High School and Fairmont State College, and retired from OSI in Sistersville.  A nature and sports enthusiast, Don enjoyed hunting, archery, trap shooting, golf, tennis, and later, pickleball.  A private service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be in memory of Donald L.
