Donald Edward Stokes, III

Donald Edward Stokes III, 63, of Stinnett Texas passed unexpectedly in his home on May 21st 2022. Born on June 4th 1959 to loving parents Donald Stokes Jr and Katherine Streeter Stokes of Newberry Michigan. Donald moved from Michigan to Texas in May 1981 where he later made Stinnett his home. He started work in the oil fields and soon made it his career. Donald retired in 2014 from Spradling Drilling in Borger Texas. Donald spent most of his time at home with his beloved dogs, Midnight, Panda and the newest Honey. Donald leaves as his legacy his son and Nicholas Stokes of Stinnett. He also leaves to cherish his memory four grandchildren, a brother Kenneth Stokes and wife Lori of Newberry Michigan and many close friends that he considered his family. Proceeding Donald in death were both his parents. We are still gathering information and ask for privacy during this difficult time we will share more details about memorial events in the coming days.
