Although it has been over 5 years, I still wanted to post a message. I didn't learn of Dillon's passing until many months after. I was not only sad, I was a little hurt that the Company he worked at for over 35 years had not let us know. Dillon was the ultimate example of a "Leader by Example". He was my first Supervisor in 1990. The young kid that I was needed some tough, disciplined Love and a daily lesson of what honest integrity looked like. I credit Dillon among a handful of beautiful sould that gave me everything I could ever ask for. He truly was a work Dad to me, but like some teens it took years for me to appreciate the golden lessons he passed on. I may not have been able to pay my respects in 2020, but I had a few opportunities to Thank him and express how grateful I was, years before he passed. I want to put down in writing again, "Thank You Sir. You were a smart, tough, loyal servant to God and all of us that had the privilege of working with you. We were blessed. Now, rest under the Golden Light of God and Heaven" My Deepest condolences to his wife and daughters who he always spoke so highly of. There is no question, in my wind, where he is now. You will see him again.

I would like to extend our sincere condolences to Marilyn and your family. We have so many fond memories of our fun cousins. I did chuckle when it was mentioned that Dillon was a jokester. I still have the memory of him and Linda letting the sow out of the pen to chase Adele and I. Hehe. Got to watch out for country cousins. Hehe. Dillon was a very kind and gentle soul. God bless. Dear Marilyn and family, I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Dillon and I worked together at Domtar for 23 years and hunted together for most of those years. He was a very respected manager that was liked by all. In the hunting camp he always had a joke or a story and will be remembered by all his friends from the past. Dillon was truly a great friend to me. "Death is only a shadow across the path to heaven." Don Snow
