Devon Stephen Plante

Our gorgeous, beloved, talented Devon Plante, 32 years of age, passed away on June 22, 2022. He was a loving child who loved trains and Star Wars. He also had a deep love of music, cars and motorcycles. He was an accomplished self-taught composer of EDM, dubstep, house music and published his cool tunes on Soundcloud. Dev was also an excellent drummer and was a member of the drum line at Nimitz High School in 2005.

Though his life was full of many heart-wrenching trials and tribulations, due to drug addiction and depression, there were moments of brightness and joy, especially when he became a father to his daughter, Lorelei.

Devon is survived by his mother - Daphne A. Izquierdo, father - Daniel R. Plante, sister – Anicka Plante Macheson, stepfather – Frank Izquierdo, stepmother – Ranjini Thaver, brother – Vishnu Thaver, stepsister – Vanessa Izquierdo, stepsister – Frankie Izquierdo, stepsister - Tiana Jones, uncles: Ken Bartash, Conrad Bell, Kerstin Bartash Cochran, aunt – Nadia Fruchey, ex-wife – Lauren Plante.

He was predeceased by his grandmother – Ana Cochran, stepgrandfather – Terry Cochran, uncle – Micah Bartash Cochran, grandfather – Leonard Plante, grandmother – Monique Marihugh.

There are no formal events planned, as he did not wish to have services. The family will be gathering privately to honor him and his life.
