Devin Ross Snyder

Devin Ross Snyder, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away at the age of thirty-seven in Las Vegas NV where he was residing at the time. He was born in Williamsport Pennsylvania on March 5th, 1985.

Devin moved to Newtown PA with his family in 1989. He attended Council Rock Schools until his graduation in 2003. At Council Rock he played soccer, baseball and was on the golf team. Devin was an outstanding student and graduated National Honor Society. He enjoyed writing and wanted to pursue a career in journalism. He studied at Temple University and Mercer Bucks Community College.

However, Devin was not one to stay in one place for long. He was a thrill seeker and loved adventure. He moved to Steamboat Colorado to pursue his passions for snowboarding, skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing. Devin loved the great outdoors and explored other states too. He enjoyed living out all his passions in Steamboat Co. Park City Utah, San Francisco California, and Sun Valley Idaho. He loved people, socializing and going to concerts. He was an avid and spirited fan of all Philadelphia sports teams but especially the Flyers. Devin was a happy and fun-loving soul.

Devin worked in the restaurant industry in resorts in various states, which suited his knack for socializing. He also worked in sales for Elevated Luxury Life Magazine until his passing. In 2019 he achieved National Sales with the magazine.

Devin is survived by his mother, Marcia Coleman, predeceased father, Samuel Snyder, stepfather, William Coleman, his predeceased sister, Alaina Snyder, stepbrother, Brendan Coleman, predeceased half-sisters, Sheree Gipe and Shelly Henry, niece and nephew, Ryleigh and Grayson Jenkins and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Devin will be sadly missed by his family and many friends and acquaintances from the west coast to the east coast.

 

There will be a Memorial Service February 10th, 2023 at The Lutheran Church of God’s Love in Newtown, PA at 11:00 am.
