She was more than my Sergeant. She was my go to person. She could look at me and know something was wrong and know how to help me fix it. She helped me make the final decision in choosing to be a stay at home mom, because she knew what was important and what the right thing to do was. She gave me an opportunity to never wish I had more time with my babies because that's what she always wanted. I will be forever grateful for having her in my life even just for a little bit. She always bragged about her babies and how proud she was of them. She was a light in my life that I will never get back. I miss her every single day. I want to talk to her everyday. I miss her inappropriate jokes and memes lol I will always carry her memory with me. Love and miss you so much Sarg ❤️

My mom was one of the most amazing, caring people I’ve ever met. If you were lucky enough to know her I’m sure you would say the same. She was always so proud of her children and made sure each and every one of us knew she was here. I could go on for paragraphs about the kind of person she was, how she gave everyone more than enough chances, how she was loyal and compassionate and when there was something she wanted she would work hard to get it. I am so thankful for having her as a mom, I truly would not be the person I am today if she didn’t raise me the way she did. She taught me to protect my heart, but to love strongly and be forgiving. She taught me how to be tough and strong, and how to be gentle and caring. I remember nights going to sleep with her and rubbing her hair, she’d say she’s not tired but fall asleep within 5 minutes, looking back I wish I always rubber her hair when she asked, or rubbed her back etc. This has taught me to love people like you won’t see them tomorrow, go out of your way to help someone out, tomorrow is not promised so live your life while you still can. Everything I do from here on out is for her, she had so much life left to live and so many things to check off and it’s so unfair that she can’t. I love you forever mom, and I know you’re with us every day.

Des taught me that not everyone leaves and family is who you choose to have by your side. Not a second goes by that I don’t think of her. She loved her children and husband more than life itself. She will be missed for the rest of my life.
