What a BEAUTIFUL person gone too soon! Derek was truly a blessed part of my life. Just knowing him and remembering the love, laughter, as well as some difficult times in our time together brings many smiles but much grief. Derek I will always LOVE YOU and you will always be in my heart forever. I was thinking of you and a Micheal Jackson song came on and all I could do was cry. I learned of your passing a year late and it hurts so bad that I would never see you loving and beautiful smile in person again and that I never got a chance to say goodbye. I will keep you in my heart and thoughts forever. I LOVE YOU DEREK CARLTON BARNES ❤️
