Loved Ones

There are some who bring a light so great to this world, that even after they are gone, the light remains.

Deborah Ann Nitsche, age 67, of Wilmington, passed away on May 10, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on July 15, 1954 in Chicago to Leo and Dolores Bothmann Graczyk. She married Reed Nitsche and they later divorced.

Deborah is survived by three daughters, Danielle Nitsche-Bosch (John Bosch) of St. Charles, Deirdre Nitsche of North Salt Lake, UT, and Desiree Nitsche of Des Plaines, granddaughter, Kayleigh Bosch, sisters, Cindy Gaitsch (Jerry) of Huntley, Kathy Wilson (Steve) of Elgin, and Corky Grazcyk of Arlington Heights, several nieces and nephews including Kevin Gaitsch, Erin Gaitsch, and Lauren Presti, and many cousins including Danette Brown, Nancy Grande, Denise Greb, and Darlene Baca. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Before Deborah got married and chose to stay home to care for her children, she worked as a bank auditor and then later in life as a home health aide.

Deb was a lover of animals, music, gardening, art, and gossip. She had a knack for holiday decorating which translated into the best home-made costumes and birthday parties for her kids when they were young. Her fun personality brought spice and flare to a conversation. Her big heart was a magnet for the many friends she made throughout her life. Most importantly, she was always there for her children to laugh, cry, and share the silly moments in life that will forever be in their memories of her. She will be terribly missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Arcada Theater Speakeasy room in St Charles, IL on July 16.
