Deborah Ann Duffy, “Debbie,” of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, with her family by her side.  Debbie was born in October 1950 to William and Wanda Kisler in Houston, Texas.  After graduating from Memorial High School in 1968, Debbie attended the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1972 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

After raising her children, Debbie became a very successful realtor, working for more than 30 years in the Scottsdale area.  She continued to work up until her passing.  Debbie was known for her kind heart, compassion for others, and positive outlook on life.

Throughout the years, Debbie was devoted to her canine companions, Muffin, Lola, and Sophie.  She treated her companions like her own children.  Sophie will miss her dearly.

Debbie was a Christian whose faith was a big part of her daily life.  She enjoyed gardening, bridge, pickle ball, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Rachelle “Chellie” (49), Ashley (37), and her son Sean (32); grandchildren Jack (22), Will (16), and Troy (3 months).

I’m a neighbor in LaVida of Debbie’s. I met Debbie like many through real estate. When it came time to sell my home I chose her because of reputation and image. That’s all I knew of her then. Not only did she work hard at real estate, she contributed to the neighborhood. We were both on the HOA together. She became a friend that I greatly admired and loved. Every time I’d see her walking Sophie, she would always ask about my family by name. If she didn’t remember a name she would ask. She always showed an interest in others and was so caring. She showed a true love for the Lord. It’s still hard to accept that Debbie is gone. I’ll miss her very much. She’ll however remain in memory. Karen Johnson

When we first moved from Canada years ago. I met Debbie at a tour of homes. She was encouraging, upbeat and kind. Always there to lend an ear or helping hand. We will miss you Debbie. The world has lost a very very special classy person. God has gained an Angel!!!

Debbie was my dear, sweet beautiful sister and most importantly my best friend. I loved that she was my sister. We shard a bedroom till I went off to college and I have only fond memories growing up with her. Memories such as showing her how to put on make-up, reading movie magazines about the latest movie stars and singing the most popular songs. As we grew up we continued to share many events and times together. Debbie and I always said we should have lived in the same town because we loved doing the same things and loved being together. Now Debbie is no longer with us and has left a huge hole in my life. To fill this void, I have found something positive out of this loss. Debbie will be my goal in life. I want to be more like Debbie. Debbie's beautiful life and heart will be an example to be kinder and more loving to everyone in my life. Now Debbie is teaching me as I once taught her. What a wonderful legacy she leaves for me and everyone who knew her. Debbie was the best at being a daughter, mother, wife, sister and friend to all the people in her life. Thank you God for such a wonderful sister and she will be missed by so many people.

My deepest sympathies to your entire family. Debbie was one of the first agents I met when I started in real estate and was hosting the first luxury tour I went on. She made such an impact on me and I always told her that I aspire to be like her one day. She handled herself with such poise, grace and kindness and she would remember everyone's names! She was a true light in this world that shined brightly wherever she went and she will be missed by so, so many!

It was a shock to learn that Debbie had passed away. She was a very good friend, especially after my husband passed away. I will not forget her kindness and thoughtfulness. Debbie was truly a lovely person, beautiful inside and outside. I will miss her very much.
