David Lee Swisher

David L. Swisher of Washington went home to be with our Lord and Savior January 4, 2025, at the age of 70, passing away peacefully at the home he built and was surrounded by his family. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Dave was an avid bowler, musician, outdoorsman and was known to be a jack of all trades that could build or repair anything. He was friendly to everyone he met and was happily retired· from Dupont.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Floa, two sons and their families, Dan, and Gigi, Joel and Jess and two granddaughters Charity and Meadow. He is also survived by a sister, Pamela Sue Patton.

He was preceded in death by loving parents Roy and Genevieve Swisher and granddaughter, Rachel.

A celebration of his life will be held at his family home at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to The Humane Society of Parkersburg.
