I work for the Forest Service and wold walk by everyday for exercise. I would see David walking his strong dog alot. I take milk bones for all the dogs I see on my 2 mile exercise break and would give Max one whenever I would see them. David reminded me of my dad who had a large german shepherd and it would pull him all over the place and was much stronger than my dad was. One day Max got loose and he came running up to me because I would give him treats. David yelled something like, "Get my dog." So I did and helped him get the dog back inside. I will miss seeing both David and the dog. So sorry for your loss. My heart is with the family and all of you at this time in your lives.

It was a great pleasure to work with Dave many years ago in Wyoming. He was the smartest, most interesting person I ever worked with. Things were not boring when Dave was around. Best wishes to Andrea going forward, and to the rest of the family.
