Aged seven, circa 1962, waiting for his new front teeth to grow in. We shared a bedroom as brothers, and Dave watched me build a model collection and started a few of his own. Dave was always more interested in what was happening outside of the house, which led him eventually to build his own cars, not miniatures. My younger brother was an outgoing man who made many friends, and he taught others what he knew. He was resurrected once previously, and I am sad that he did not survive to see the face of the Moshiach. I trust that God has His own plans for a great reunion in the next world, a more perfect world filled with truth and light and love.

What a joy it was to know Dave! He kept things light with his delightful sense of humor but was very serious about his faith! He was a faithful ambassador for Jesus and had a heart for the lost. We rejoice that he is with his Lord and Savior but grieve the loss of his friendship. Our love and prayers to Patti and the family. ❤️

I will always remember you coming to visit us in the foggiest of winters in the central valley because our home was your home growing up as well. Your mission for God was truly inspiring and I will also miss the stories. When you last visited with your Filipino group from church, we were happy to welcome you as well as them into our home. Even though you were uncle by title, you were my manong too. God bless and be with you and your entire family always.

David I will always remember you during my childhood with Lisa buying penny candies from you at Rich’s Market. You were always so respected. It’s hard for us to say goodbye but I’m so happy to know you are with our Heavenly Father who probably ran to greet you at your arrival. I celebrate your wonderful life I saw with your beautiful family. What a nice reunion to see you and Lisa after so many years had passed. I pray God give your family peace and strength during this sorrowful time. Rest In Peace my good brother until we meet again.

We did not know Dave very long, but his gracious spirit and love for Jesus were evident even in that short time. We were blessed to know him. Our prayers are with Patti and the whole family.

Dave (and you too Patti) was an inspiration. He was the best youth minister a teen could have. He even gave me advice well into my 20’s. I have thought of you two over the years and always smile. May God help ease this transition for you and your family
