David Patrick Donald McCarthy

Dave is survived by his beloved children Angie Quaale of Langley B.C., Pam McCarthy and Ryan McCarthy both of Calgary with special mentions to David Cassaway(Angie) and Carlene Stamler(Ryan). Predeceased by his wife Chayle (Aug 4, 2017) and parents Margueritte and Donald McCarthy, David passed away at Rosedale Hospice in Calgary at the age of 67. He worked most of his life as an electrician and was a member of BC and Alberta Electrical Union. He loved Chayle and his 3 children, his music, hot sauce, BBQ, his dogs Tucker and Peanut, travel and photography. He was quiet and unassuming with the patience of a saint. He will be missed terribly by everyone that knew him. At David's request, no formal service will be held - many of us will be raising a glass in his honor at private gatherings.
