It’s hard to know where to really begin. God knows I miss you soooooo much and I’m so devastated that you are no longer here in the physical. I know that is a selfish sentiment, I know you are doing far better than all of us right now but I can’t help but feel like my heart is breaking into a million pieces. You are the best God father I could have even prayed for. You are the GREATEST man I have EVER known in my life and you will forever hold that title. I’m so immensely grateful for all of the lessons you’ve taught me, for all of the life you have spoken into me, for the encouragement you have given me and the will you have taught me. For teaching me to never take sh*t from anyone. I promise to apply all of those lessons. I can still hear your voice clear as day, in my head. as unreal as this all seems, I pray I find peace in this. I promise you soon, I will forgive the world for being so cruel, I will forgive human kind, I will forgive the powers that be for taking you away too soon. I love you so much it hurts. And I know you love me. I can hear you saying “I love you my baby!” Your spirit lives forever, and forever in my heart, you will remain. Until we meet again big homie ❤️❤️❤️ Love Lady T

Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am the thousands winds that blow. I am the diamond glints in the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. I did not know you David, however, Im your sister's best friend...if, you two were anything alike as far as your sense of humor. I know it would've been a pleasure to have met you. My prayers to Glenda and Family. Love you my Friend .R. I. P. / Mr. O'Dell

The thing about Dave Odell is that he brought the ‘funny’. His Dad’s ministry was God, but Dave’s ministry was the ‘funny’. I worked with Dave over 25 years at FEDEX and American Red Cross and he kept us laughing the WHOLE time. We all knew when he was due at work because we knew it was gonna be nonstop laughs. He didn’t care if the joke was on him either(it often was). Besides that he was an all-around good dude. Family Man, well-read, from good stock, no putting on’airs’ type of guy. Dave was REAL. We had sooooo many laughs, right up till he departed this earth. So many great conversations. These things are what I will miss the most. I didn’t realize how much he meant to all of us until he passed, but he was our Brother, a true friend. Thanks for the great memories, Dave. Thank you to his family for sharing him with us all these years. Rest up, you will be missed and never forgotten. Garrick

Odell my dear friend we have shared so much over the years I will truly miss you but I know the Bible promises a resurrection and I have faith I will see you there. Revelation 21:3,4 tells us that soon death will be no more. I love you my dear friend I will never forget our heartfelt discussions about the Bible. As the number one MUA David Odell you will never be forgotten. I love you my brother Chris Dave ❤️
