David Michael Comisford

David Michael Comisford, age 83, of Waterford Ohio, passed away on May 21, 2022 with the compassionate care of Ohio's Lifecare Hospice. David was born on December 18, 1938 to the late Charles and Marcia (Abel) Comisford, in Newark Ohio. He was Methodist by faith. David retired from Rockwell International. David was a farmer, had phenomenal gardens, loved dogs, campfires and the river. He enjoyed working with his hands. Between 1986 and 1987 David built the Melanie Anne. It was the largest privately owned sternwheeler on the Muskingum River. David was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Surviving is David's wife, Melanie Anne of the home, his daughters, Penny Rouan (Gary) of Zanesville, OH; Marcia Spencer (Danny) of Waterford, OH; Heidi Lewis (Tim) of Westerville, OH; and Laurie Phillips (Ryan) of Pataskala, OH; brothers, Jerry (Judy) of Newark, OH; Richard (Sharon) of Hanover, OH; Jon of Alexandria, OH; sister, Kathy Hall (Wayne) of New Lexington, OH; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Thomas M. Comisford, his granddaughter Tiffinee M. Comisford and brother Charles B. Comisford There will be no calling hours or services for Mr. Comisford. A private cremation will take place at Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society.
