David Henry Allen

David H Allen 72 Of Elizabeth West Virginia passed away February 10, 2024, due to an ongoing Illness. He was born in Island Falls, Maine on May 31,1951 to Robert Royden Allen an Edith Fredricks Allen who both of Maine is deceased.

He is survived by his lovely lady Nellie Leasure of Elizabeth. he was survived in death by his children Lynn Leasure  ( Jason Leasure) of Pennsboro WV, David Allen ( Anna) of Ireland, WV Robert Allen (Hannah) of Buckannon WV.  Tara Allen ( Chris) of Maine. Daughter Sumer Glover ( Eric) of Pricetown WV. Siblings: 3 brothers Royden (Cabbie) Allen , Ralph Leavitt , and one deceased brother Leonard (Ethel) Leavitt. 17 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and Two deceased Grandchildren. He had several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. David went by (Dave) to everyone he met. Dad was a logger back in the day and he was a mechanic also. His best friend Roy Leasure enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking their cup of coffee and listening to the chickens and sharing stories and talking about what they were going to do during the evening. My father loved fishing with his family and friends and listening to music and playing his guitar, banjo, and harmonica. Such  beautiful sounds of music came through. He also enjoyed riding snowmobiles with his family and friend Mark in Maine . What a cold ride but fun. 

So many memories we will have to share : May the love of God and the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ bless and console usand gently wipe every tear from our eyes: in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit.
