Words cannot express how much I will miss daddy because he was truly my dad in every way possible. He never took me as an in-law but a son. How can I forget all the support in secondary school through text books when he was at University Press, he had a special way of calling me that always brought a smile to my face. I will miss you so much Dadri, continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord till we meet to part no more. I love you daddy
Yetunde Idowu

Baba ee! Huuummm! I am still finding it difficult to believe that you are no more. Daddy! A word can never explain or describe how you are a good father to your children, grandchildren, best brother to siblings and to the family that sees you as an uncle, in exchangeable husband to your darling wife, what can we say to the testimonies of friends! Baba ee! As I grew older, I learnt and appreciate our relationship as father and daughter. Iya ni Aina! As you always called me, we love you but Jesus love’s you more. Omo a mu gba roja feti kola wale! Omo eni a nrele re bi o foju ire woni a si pada leyin ile........! Baba Yetunde, baba Omolola., baba Ayodele., baba Sinmiloluwa., Baba Ifeoluwa. Till we part no more. Sun re o!

See you soon Grandpa. It’s been an honor to know you and be welcomed by you without judgment but genuine love. Your exit is a celebration.
Boluwatito Idowu
Grandpa was worthy of emulation, a shining light and a leading example to us all. No wonder why he will be greatly missed by everyone. The precious little times we spent together will be forever cherished. We wish we had the opportunity to spend much more time together, but God knows best. But now we know that you are watching over us and protecting us. Rest in peace grandpa. We love you so much. From your grandchildren, Boluwatito, Inioluwa, Anuoluwatomiwa and Ireyanju Idowu

Daddy you have written your name with Gold and platinum in baptist church as a legend. I will miss your generosity, kindness and your model of approach in handling things. These are one of the numerous things that make you different from other people. I will surely miss the discussions that we frequently have together any time we meet. All your children and grandchildren will also miss you. As a legend, your legacy will last for ever may your soul continue to live on Daddy. Your son Ben Idowu
