Charlie & Pat Lauer

Dan (and Margaret) always enjoyed a good party. When we all lived on Cuthbertson Place in Thunder Bay I had my 40th birthday (born in 1953) and Dan picked me up in the Floyd family 1953 Buick convertible - so I arrived in style. And as a bonus a couple of my favourite Mouseketeers were there. Thanks for the great times Dan. Pat and Charlie Lauer

Margaret and girls.....We met through hockey with Rick Hodgins as the link between us, and became friends as we travelled to old-timers tournaments and other events. I will not remember Danny as a great hockey player ( he made questionable choices when he hacked some really big guys) but as a great guy, and always a wonderful family man. Condolences from Bonny and Tom Scanlan.

Karen and I first met Dan and Margaret during our Centennial days and weekends at Jukes cottage. Our friendship grew through their days in the upper beaches home, their home in Agincourt and then tapered off when they moved to Thunder Bay but rekindled once they returned To London and again tapered because of distance when they moved to Vancouver. But no matter where or when we got together it was like nothing had changed. Why? Because they are both lovely people and even when Danny was suffering he always, always had a smile on his face and a good word for everybody. Margaret and family we offer our condolences and always know we are thinking of you. Dan will always be remembered and when we do think of him we will have smiles on our faces Rick and Karen H

Thinking of you Margaret and girls and sending condolences from all the Lauers. From the first time we met Dan he was a favourite. Dan always had a joke and a smile and our boys loved to spend time with your family. His sense of humour always made our gatherings fun. He always gave me a helping hand if I needed input with design or art. From Thunder Bay to London our visits were always filled with Fun and Love. He will be missed. Hugs, Wendy

We send sympathy to all of Dan’s family. We never got to know him very well due to the distance between our homes, but we know about him through Elizabeth and Winston. It seems from their stories that he was a very special man. We understand how much his death will leave a gap in your family. Wishing you all the best. Faye Fisher, David Grahlman, Chris and Adam Webber.
Annemarie Farrell
Margaret and family please accept our sincerest condolence. Joe and I were talking about how we remembered Danny as a warm, friendly person. He was very interesting with a good sense of humor, but also interested in other people. I know he will be missed by you and the girls but your memories will never go away. Love Annemarie and Joe
