Danilo Balfermoso De Luna

Danilo Balfermoso de Luna, age 77, of Quezon City, Manila, Philippines passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2021, while confined at the Philippine Heart Center.

Danilo was born on September 27, 2021 in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines. He is a graduate of UST High School and graduated with a B.S. in Accountancy at the Mapua Institute of Technology and Lyceum of the Philippines. He also graduated with an MBA from the Ateneo de Manila University and some post graduate studies at the De La Salle University Manila. He worked for the Central Bank of the Philippines all his working years.

Danila was a loving father, husband and grandfather. He was a voracious reader,  who loved to engage in intellectual debates, loved to play tennis, loved to walk,  loved music, was a great pianist and who had a generous heart for the poor and the needy. He was a former Mason and a devout Catholic, devotee of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lord of Pardon, who loved to hear mass often and was a member of the Knights of Columbus at his local parish.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca de Luna; 5 Children namely Margaret Mary Faile (Steve);  Maria Martha de Luna (Jose Santos); Maria Carmela Recrosio (Lorenzo Recrosio); Paul Vincent de Luna and Jean Veronica de Luna;  Siblings Ruby de Luna Seneta and Nanete de Luna; He is survived by his nieces and nephews Maria Rachel Yilmaz, Maria Cecilia Ciltepe, Maria Angela Seneta and Mavrick de Luna. He is also survived by his grandchildren Alessandra Mari Faile, Joshua Miguel Faile, Jared Matteo Faile; Luis Antonio de Luna Santos, Jose Alfonso de Luna Santos; and Romeo Matisse Giovanni Recrosio; as well as a plethora of additional loving family and friends.

He  was preceded in death by his parents, Eustacio and  Maria Balfermoso de Luna and in laws Salvador Sablaon Sr. and Patricia Sablaon.
