Click Here to View and Download the Celebration of Life for Daniel Wdowiak We had to say good bye to Daniel Wdowiak as he passed away on July 5, 2020. Dan was very generous, always thinking of others first. He adored and loved his children very passionately, Cody (29), Samantha (28), and Jacob (22). He also left behind a loving wife, Kristie. Besides loving his family and being a good father, Dan was very dedicated to his work throughout the years leading teams and loved developing people and helping them meet their goals. He was an awesome doggy dad, loved his cars, coached youth sports, was an incredible artist, and loved to travel and see different "beauty", as he would call it. Dan - until we meet again, know that you impacted many people and were respected, cared for, and loved. *Note from Kristie: I hope you will all take the opportunity to share a memory of Dan. He was the love of my life and I want to honor him. I'd like to use the content to put together a very special virtual ceremony given the COVID situation keeping us from gathering and because we have lived so many places, this would be a unique way to allow so many people Dan has met and enjoyed time with over the years to come together. Please help me accomplish this - and PHOTOS - any and all would be so appreciated. I know there are lots of good pictures out there. Thank you for all the outpouring of love and support. In lieu of flowers, you may make a charitable donation to the Guide Dogs for the Blind. This is a non-profit that Dan supported as a volunteer due to his love of dogs and to see people with vision impairment get the support they need to live fuller lives.

My condolences for the loss of your loved one. The hurt and pain of losing a loved one is difficult. Please know that God is near to those that are broken at heart and who are crushed in spirit.(Psalm 34:18) God will wipe away all tears from their eyes and death will be no more.(Revelation 21:4)

Beautiful service Kristie, Jacob, Sam and Cody❤️. Our family loved Dan very much. He was always so kind, caring and compassionate. Whenever we went to visit in California, he made us feel so welcome. His hospitality was unmatched. I loved the way he always teased Mom, the infamous "Aunt Cindy". He teased but he also made sure he was always taken care of. He cared for my son Dominic also who spent some of his years without a father figure in the household, he connected with him and let him know he cared when he was going through a time of clinical depression. Dan would text him and I knew Dan was one of the only people who could really reach his heart during that time. The good times and great memories and laughs are too numerous to post but there are many. Dan was a great man and will be very missed. Love to you all-the DeNunes

Even after a little bit of time has gone by, I am still in shock at the news of Dan's passing. My heart breaks for Kristie, Cody, Samantha, Jacob and the rest of their family. Dan was always such a genuine, caring and all around great guy. Every time I saw him, he had a smile on his face and personality that would light up a room. He was always so easy to talk to and was genuinely interested in how you were doing. Whether it was at work or having some adult beverages at a "team building" event, Dan was always the guy you wanted to hang out with. He kept it real and was always good for a few laughs and some great times. Although their time was cut way too short, I know Dan was a wonderful husband and father. Kristie always referred to him as "my guy" and I can't imagine the pain and loss she is feeling right now. Dan was also loved and respected by friends and co-workers and left a lasting impression on those he met. I know I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Dan and was blessed to call him a friend. Dan, thank you for the great memories, and for always bringing a smile to my face. You will be missed. Rest in peace and love my friend.

Kristie - Our hearts go out to you and your family. Kendal and I are still in shock from the news of Dan's passing. He was such a wonderful person and good friend. He and I traded v-mails recently and I had a note to call him so we could catch-up. I so regret now we weren't able connect before he passed. Please, if you need anything at all don't hesitate to reach out to us. Chuck and Kendal

There are many words which come to mind when Craig and I think of our dear son-in-law. We have known and loved him for 22 years. Dan was loved so much by Craig and I and we will miss him forever. We shared so much life with him it is hard to put into a couple paragraphs. Dan was always helpful around our home when something would spring or leak! Especially on July 4th parties.. if I cooked he always wanted to clean up and would not take "no" as an answer and always with a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face! He was an extraordinary man in so many ways, loving husband, Dad and so proud of his family. Dan was a talented artist and gave us a slate painting which we labeled "The Boat" and hangs in our home in a special place. Dan and his family loved coming to Solana Beach to visit on vacations and holidays and we think he may have been inspired to paint something so beautiful. We loved having Dan, Kristie, Cody, Samantha and Jacob visit with us and we even got to meet his wonderful Mom, Dad and complete family when they got married. Joyce and Walter can be very proud of their son and his accomplishments in life and know he was loved very much by them. Dan was a hard worker, loved to travel, loved his fantasy football with family and friends and loved to go to Las Vegas for Super Bowl, many of which we shared with him through the years. These memories and many more will be in our hearts for the rest of our lives.. Dan, we will miss you today, tomorrow and every day of our life.. Craig and I do not like to say Goodbye so we will just say "See you Later" and love you always and forever, Jackie and Craig

I don't have many pictures of Dan but I believe this was the last time I saw him. I have so many wonderful memories of him from being absolutely smitten by him as a child dancing with me at Lara's wedding to Disney with all your kids. He made such an impact. I wish you could have met my children, I am sure my daughters would have absolutely loved him. He will never be forgotten.
