For those of us who knew Dally, words are not enough and for those of us who did not know him, words are inadequate. My dear Dally, it is with deep and profound sadness to say goodbye. I still cannot accept the thought that you have departed. Nonetheless, it is heartening to know that you are at peace in the bosom of the Lord, our maker. Yes, Dally and I go way back. Dally was one of my very first boyhood friends. Unfortunately, destiny would have us separated in our middle teenage years fresh out of Lime Hall Primary School. As a testament to Dally’s humanity, notwithstanding the separate roads that we traveled, the instant we saw each other, time and distance evaporated. In July 2017 some 52years after our journey took us in different directions, our boyhood friendship was instantly rekindled. We were boomers by then and should have had time to relive those absent years but unfortunately, my dear friend you left us too soon. Almost every day since your departure, I can still hear you saying, “I copy you Lebert.” I will forever miss you, my friend. RIP DALLY, Lebert

My uncle was a kind-hearted man who only saw the good in people. He loved his family and he loved God! Though he was ready, we were not, because we loved him, but God loved him more. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy lives on in his children. Gone but will never be forgotten. Love you forever, Claudia (niece), Effie (sister) KJ & Malik (nephews).
