If you knew Crystal, did she graduate from Pitzer College?

I didn't know you that well, however; we did work in the same school together. You were always respectful, kind & polite to me. My sincerest condolences to your husband & family. May you forever "Sleep in peace. L3 L. McClain NYPD/SSD MS 301

I haven't seen Crystal in over 30 years. But the photo definitely looks like an older version of the young girl/woman I once knew and called a friend. My heart is heavy and my deepest condolences goes out to her family, friends, children, spouse, and others that loved her. The Crystal I knew grew up in Forest Houses of Bronx, NY. In the early 80's Crystal was a star in Junior High School 120. Her teachers loved her and she had the respect of all her peers (male & female alike) and was easily the most popular sister of her graduating class. She was what we called an "old soul" and had a maturation beyond those of her classmates. I can remember her enthusiasm and drive which obviously left a mark on me since I'm able to recall it so well today, even though I havent been in her presence in more than 3 decades. I have the best fun memory of she and our co-best friend, Jeffrey Berger, collaborating to throw the best ever senior graduation party for the JHS 120 seniors in the summer of '84. In those days, Jeff & I were best friends and she and Jeff were platonic best friends and we all got along very well. She was cool like that. Im not sure how Crystal passed but I hope it was peaceful and her family's mourning is likewise. It's strange, I haven't thought of Crystal in so long but today her name came to my head and something told me to search her out online when I found this post. If you were trying to say bye my sister, I heard you! Until we see each other again, love Kevin aka "Head".
